I wrote & meant to post this last week… oops

Things are going well! My surgical pain is gone. I do have some days where the “pocket” in which the stim was placed gets sore. The doc said this is normal; it takes about three months to fully heal. In the meantime the stimulator can move and shift in the pocket & pain can happen when it pushes up closer to the skin or closer to the muscle. Eventually, the scar tissue will build around it and hold it in place. Gross!

I finally found a program and level that brings my pain down 50% (more on a lot of days!) so for now, that’s where we will leave it. I can make adjustments as necessary and my NEVRO rep is very responsive if I need help.

Above all I am beyond thrilled to be off pain meds! That alone has made all this worth it.
